When to Return

When to Return


The beauty of membership is you choose when to return! Go ahead, hold onto a coat or bag you love all season long. When you’re ready to let go, tap 'Swap' on the items you want to return to start a new order.

One-time Reserve renter? You can find your return date in your confirmation email. If it falls on a Sunday, you’ll have until noon on Monday to return your items.

Pack Your Bag

Pack Your Bag


Put your rentals in the garment bag they arrived in and be sure all accessories and handbags are back in their dust bags or boxes.

If you can, return items with the hangers and plastic bags they came with. We'll take them off your hands and make sure they're recycled properly. A win-win.

On occasion, shipments may arrive in a polybag or a cardboard box, which you can also use for returns.

Zip It and Ship It

Zip It and Ship It


Remove the shipping label from the plastic pouch on the outside of the garment bag. Replace it with the prepaid return label from the bag’s inside pocket.

Fold the bag, tuck in the handles, and zip it shut.

If your rentals came in a polybag or cardboard box, tape your shipping label to the outside of it and send it off.

Schedule a Home Pickup

Don’t have time to drop off? Thanks to our complimentary home pickup service, you don’t have to. If you’re in an eligible zip code (with more to come!), you’ll be prompted to schedule a home pickup while placing a new order. If you change your mind and want to schedule after confirming your order, head to My RTR > Schedule a Home Pickup. Don’t see the option? Hang tight—we’re always expanding our eligible areas!
